Government and Police Car Auction; The Secret Of Getting A Decent Car For Less Than $600

by Terry Carters

If you are looking for a decent car and want to save as much money as possible, a good place to look would be police car auction. In the financial crisis we are facing now, many people don't have much money to spend especially not on quality cars. Whatever you do, don't purchase your car at a dealership that promises you a good car for very little money down. The risk of paying a suffocating interest rate as well as not getting the quality car you have been promised.

However, if you go to a police car auction, the probability of finding a decent car at very low price is pretty high. Cars sold at police car auctions are vehicles that have been seized for criminal reasons and then they're auctioned off to the one who bids the highest. So don't leave money on the table; go to a police auto auction and land a great bargain. Check out my police and government car auction review.

The Reason They Were Seized

The most common reason why the police seize a vehicle is that it has been involved in a drug crime. In some cases the vehicle was used for a drug deal in other cases it was bought by a drug dealer with drug money. In most cases we are talking about really nice and pretty new vehicles like fast sports cars and pure luxury vehicles. It's not uncommon that some of them have a few flaws but this is a minor issue when you can get a great car like this for such a low price. Check out my police and government car auction review.

There are numerous of other reasons why a car is seized such as unpaid parking tickets or too many DUIs.

Auctioning Old Police Cars

The police needs cars they can trust which means high technical standard and that they have to be relatively new. This means they need to renew their fleet of vehicles pretty often. When they receive a new batch of Police cars, they need to get rid of the old vehicles and why not auction them off because that's exactly what they do. Before they are auctioned off, all the things that showed they were police cars are removed. Some of them are great cars and you can get them for a nice price if your bid is right. The internet is full of testimonials from people that have made great bargains at police auto auctions. The fact is that at a police car auction you can get a new or barely used car for an amount much lower than the vehicle's actual listing value.
